OUT OF THE MIDDLE EAST CAULDRON "UNPRECEDENTED TROUBLE"
Introduction Dad wrote the original message more than thirteen years ago, and many events he wrote about have already come to pass, and many of them are happening now. I have endeavored to update the message with current events and a few thoughts and scriptures. The great question on most people's minds about the present-day trouble over the Middle East social unrest and the question of Palestinian statehood is: How do we solve them peaceably? There is a total frustration and a cynical hopelessness among world statesmen whose diplomatic mission, however sincere, is destined to fail because the prophecies have been written. But, this cynicism should not alarm a Christian with knowledge of the prophetic scriptures. Ray Pringle, Jr. The Middle East, Europe, and Southeast Asia _ from these areas of our world emanate all the Terrorism and Revolution that are destroying the peace of all nations. Wars, terrorism, revolution, and rumors of wars are predicted by Jesus Christ for our endtime generation as the rule and not the exception. "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places." Matthew 24:6-7. But ladies and gentlemen, Jesus also passed on to us this word of caution: *See that ye be not troubled* _ for all these fearful, painful, and disastrous events are only the birth pangs of greater sorrows to follow closely on the heels of these peace-shattering prophetic fulfillments. "All these are the beginning of sorrows." Matthew 24:8. These events are happening right before our eyes, and most preachers are still sitting back in wonder and awe and proclaiming that the Lord is going to come and take us out of this mess. Well, those preachers have been preaching an easy rapture for a long time; the world is filling up with troubles and the Lord has not come yet. Dad has always said, "God is going to singe their tail feathers before He lets His Son come back."



	Take heed that deadbeat preachers and Christians do not fool you into a false security. "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. All these are the beginning of sorrows. [Be very careful who you listen to.] And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many." Matthew 24:4-5, 8, 11. This is just the beginning of the end. What are we going to do? Wring our hands in despair, or are we going to trust the Lord for our deliverance? I am going to trust God! IS LASTING PEACE POSSIBLE? Is there any hope that world leaders will find a formula for lasting peace in the Middle East, the focal point of all global strategy among the superpowers seeking a breakthrough to solutions of the distress among nations? *The answer is NO!* Jesus Christ predicted that in this endtime generation, there would be "*upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;"* Luke 21:25 _ meaning that there would be economic, social, and military problems, causing pressure from every side, with no known solutions, in the midst of terrorism, violence, and threats of war. KEEP YOUR EYES ON ISRAEL Israel is very near and dear to God's heart, to wit: "Israel is my son, even my firstborn." Exodus 4:22. Israel is mentioned over 2,400 times in the Bible. Ladies and gentlemen, Israel is the hub of all prophetic fulfillments of the Holy Scriptures. There are nations and "wannabe" nations filled with hatred for Israel: and their guns, bombs and missiles are aimed at them. The present day Middle Eastern crisis is leading nations squarely on the Road to Armageddon _ and it will be fought on Israeli soil! *Out of the violence and revolution in the Middle East, the Antichrist is arising.* Also, out of the present political alliances in the United Nations, a world government will be formed, led by the Antichrist, empowered by a mighty multinational army, by which he will enforce a temporary peace upon all nations, religions, and political systems. *What happens to Israel involves all nations,* to wit: "And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it." Zechariah 12:3. Also: "For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle." Zechariah 14:2. *God has a controversy with all nations _ that is, a score to settle over the Jewish question _ at Armageddon, World War III!* "A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground." Jeremiah 25:31-33. Also: "For it is the day of the LORD'S vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion [Israel]." Isaiah 34:8.



	THE ANTICHRIST "And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant. And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people. He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time." Daniel 11:21-24. We can clearly see how the antichrist can come in peaceably and in the background he will have his thugs, al Qaeda, Hezbollah, and Environmental Extremists, working for him that are funded secretly by oil-rich nations and individuals. Right now, a few terrorists in Iraq are humbling the United States, with just a few suicidal individuals, even with all of the U.S. war power. THE ANTICHRIST PEACE PLAN "And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand." Daniel 8:25. We can say with assurance through the Holy Scriptures that the antichrist's policy of peace will end catastrophically, to wit: "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape." I Thessalonians 5:3. Out of all the turmoil _ suicide bombings, sniper killings and upheavals _ in the Middle East, amidst the religious intrigue of Christians, Jews, and Muslims, there will soon arise a charismatic figure, a man with the perfect formula for peace in the Middle East, who will be accepted by all the warring factions. He will deceive them through his political platform of global economic equality, regardless of religious creed, language, or national origin. Like Dad has said so many times as he was teaching, "He will be a sweet, juicy preacher with his lips drooling `sweet nothings' and a panty-waist smile on his face." GOG AND MAGOG Many preachers are telling their listeners that the Lord could come any minute, but they don't explain that there are many prophesies that have NOT been fulfilled. Your Holy Bible says in Matthew 5:18, "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." I have heard some of these so-called prophets say just recently that they can prove that the Lord will come before the Great Tribulation, yet your Holy Bible says differently. "Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." Matthew 24:42 & 44. *Before* Armageddon _ *before* Jesus Christ returns _ *before* the antichrist is unveiled _ Israel will be invaded by Russia and her Middle Eastern allies!



	"And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee … I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, … Persia [Iraq, Syria, Iran], Ethiopia, and Libya [the Arabs] with them … Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands [these are Eastern European Nations] … And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; *it shall be in the latter days." Ezekiel 38:1-6, 16. This is not Armageddon, absolutely not! This invasion doesn't include "all nations." Also, Christ returns in the midst of Armageddon! GOD'S RESPONSE* *Remember, Israel is God's land.* "The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me." Leviticus 25:23. "They shall not dwell in the LORD'S land…" Hosea 9:3. This is God's response to this mighty army of invaders who are sworn to destroy Israel. "And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face. For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother. And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD." Ezekiel 38:18-23. "And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel … And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them." Ezekiel 39:2 & 21. ELIJAH MUST FIRST COME *There will be yet seven troubled years of Bible prophecy fulfilled upon this generation after Gog invades Israel.* It will take the Israelis seven years to cleanse the land of the rubble of that disaster. Ezekiel 39:9: "And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years." Also, it will take them seven months to bury the dead bodies. Ezekiel 38:12-14. The great tribulation will begin after the invasion of Gog, and at the same time Elijah will appear and prophesy for three and a half years, until true Restoration is accomplished. Revelation 11:3-14. BEFORE CHRIST COMES "And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? *And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias [Elijah] truly shall first come, and restore all*



	*things."* Matthew 17:10-11. The Apostle Peter revealed this astounding truth also: "And he [God the Father] shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive *until* the times of restitution [same as Restoration] of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began." Acts 3:20-21. A FINAL WARNING "Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand." II Thessalonians 2:1-2. Beloved, don't let attention-getters, money-grabbers, and sensationalists called prophets or preachers, alarm you or cause you to be panic-stricken. Keep your eyes on Jesus, live close to Him, be obedient and faithful. Amidst terrorism, epidemics, earthquakes, hunger, fear, drought, storms, floods, disasters, heartaches and losses of all kinds, remember this: "Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. *A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.* Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. [Why?] *Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague [epidemic disease] come nigh thy dwelling.* For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways." Psalm 91:5-11 "Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass … For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace." Psalm 37:7, 9-11. Thank you Jesus, and our Mighty God for Your wonderful promises to those who love and serve you. The End.

		CORRECTION On page 6 of the September - October 2003 issue of the Word of Prophecy Newsletter, we printed the following statement: "Doesn't the Constitution require separation of church and state? Yes, indeed." It was brought to our attention by a reader that this was inaccurate. Upon reading the Constitution we realized that the only mention of religion is in the First Amendment, which reads: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." We sincerely apologize for the mistake.

IVAN KRUEGER, head of the greatest monopoly, died a suicide. JESSE LIVERMORE, the most successful speculator on Wall Street, died a suicide. CHARLES SCHWAB, president of the largest independent steel company, died in bankruptcy and lived on borrowed money for five years before his death. SAMUEL INSULL, the president of the greatest utility company, died a fugitive from the law and penniless in a foreign land. HOWARD HOPSON, the president of the largest gas company, went insane. ARTHUR CUTTEN, the greatest wheat speculator, died abroad, bankrupt. RICHARD WHITNEY, the president of the New York Stock Exchange, was released from Sing Sing Penitentiary to die at home. LEON FRASER, the president of the Bank of International Settlements, died a suicide. ALBERT FALL, the member of the President's Cabinet, was pardoned so that he could die at home. "FOR WHAT SHALL IT PROFIT A MAN, IF HE SHALL GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD AND LOSE HIS OWN SOUL?" Bro. Ray Pringle, Sr.
